About Me

My name is Tayler (yes, with an ‘e’), and I am here to share some love in addition to my perspective of the universe around me. I love salsa dancing, tea, and big earrings. In my 24 trips around the sun, I would like to think I have accomplished a lot. Most importantly, I found my one true calling – YOGA! {See what brought me to yoga, here}

Before the anniversary of my first yoga class, I received my 200-hour RYT certification and I haven’t looked back! I intend to continue learning as much knowledge as possible in order to be the best instructor for my students. Currently, my certifications include:

  • 200-hour RYT certification (Yoga Alliance approved)

  • 60-hour Hot Yoga certification (Yoga Alliance approved)

  • 30-hour SUP Yoga certification *taught by Rachel Brathen* (Yoga Alliance approved)

In addition to those certifications, I also attended a conference put on by MD Anderson to better understand how to teach cancer patients. As of July 2018, I am officially considered to be an E-RYT and YACEP.

As an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT), I have taught over 1,000 classes and am considered an expert in several different fields within the yoga realm. I specialize in teaching a variety of styles of movement within a yoga setting to create optimum wellness with all of my students.

I am proudest of my ability to reach across age, gender, and ability spectrums to make yoga and movement accessible to all kinds of people. I love connecting with students in my studio classes where we get to move and play, but I also love having the opportunity to teach students one-on-one where I can show people how to be more comfortable in their own bodies.

I’m probably most known for my Yin classes, but my Flow, Gentle, and Restorative yoga classes get pretty packed as well! I’d love to have you in my class sometime!

If you ever find yourself interested in taking a class with me a (or have questions about yoga), give me a shout here and I will be more than happy to share some yoga love with you!

In addition to this website:

  • Voyage Houston Magazine featured me in two articles under Inspiring Stories (see the second one here)
  • I also occasionally have articles posted on the besomebody website. Feel free to check it out!
  • A Facebook Page I post regularly to is dedicated to sharing my weekly schedule and sometimes sharing live yoga classes

The light in me loves the light in you!
